Digital support at Rosmini
We are currently working with We Are Digital, providing digital assistance for settled status applications as well visa application. We have recently started a new project helping those to appeal a benefit decision, as well as completing help with fees application, applying for a divorce on top of support with a single justice procedure notice. We have been providing digital assistance since July 2019, and have had great success in doing so, we have helped around 1500 people to apply for some form of residency. We are also a online centres network member, providing training on how to safely access online pages, order GP prescriptions, book online appointments and access online benefit claims.

In 2020 we ran a small group of training sessions aimed at getting people online. With this project, we helped people by providing them with a device, and a sim card, loaded with data to use to gain access to online services. We also provided training to those who did not have the skills or knowledge to use the device and safely access online services. Within these sessions, we supported users in safely accessing websites, and gave advice on how to stay safe online and spot common scams.
We continue to support people with information advice and guidance sessions, and within these sessions, we have supported people with many different digital challenges, from creating an email account and printing off flight tickets, to filling out application forms to opening online bank accounts.
